Our services cover the whole range of activities involved in the construction of a swimming pool including:

Circulation Options

We also offer a variety of different options for circulation:

Freeboard: The standard arrangement where the water level is approximately 100 mm (4”) below the top of the wall although the depth can be reduced to as little as 50 mm (2”)

Decklevel: (stretch): An arrangement where the water flows over the top of the pool wall and into a peripheral channel before being pumped back into the pool. Well known examples of this type of arrangement in Nairobi are the pools at the Serena and Mayfair hotels.

Horizon: To create the impression that the pool water is flowing over the edge of a precipice, the pool wall is lowered by 50 mm (2”) and the water “disappears” into a balance tank before being pumped back into the pool.

Beach: This is similar to decklevel with the water flowing over the top of the pool wall and up a “beach” which slopes towards the pool.

 

Optional Extras

As well as providing a complete pool from start to finish we can also arrange for the installation of optional extras:

  • Saltwater Chlorinator - Converts salt dissolved in the pool water into free chlorine. This unit ensures that the pool water is sanitised continuously and avoids the need for daily dosing with chlorine
  • Undersurround Heating - Flexible PVC heating pipes embedded in the pool surround with necessary by-pass control valves
  • Solar Heating Rolls - Solar heating rolls mounted on a steel and timber frame complete with by-pass valves for control
  • Solar Pool Cover - 400 micron solar pool cover including cutting to size if necessary and fitting to roller
  • Pool Cover Roller - Standard roller up to 6.5m in width to facilitate removal and replacing the solar pool cover
  • Pool Cleaner - Automatic pool cleaner complete with pre-filter and 12 m floating hose
